SECOND CROP OF STRAWBERRIES
This years second crop of strawberries are now in full swing, so we need lots of people to come and pick them and also to enjoy a REALLY GOOD cup of coffee and an excellent selection of FABULOUS homebaking from our shop.

PYO IS GOING GREAT
The season is going great, lots of lovely berries we have had lots of happy customers. As an extra to the Belhaven Fruit Farm experience we are able to offer a "REALLY GOOD" coffee in our farm shop

FRUIT ICE SALES TEAM SUCESSES
We are delighted, to announce that we have in the last month been able to expand our sales in the Lothians, Edinburgh, Fife and Borders to over 90 outlets.

THE SUN HAS GOT HER HAT ON
At last a glorious week of sunshine, and everyone loves a frozen treat. Belhaven Fruit Ice had an exceptional week of sales. We were delighted to see everyone at our different locations over this fine week.
This sunshine has given the strawberries in our poly tunnels a boost of growth. We hope to have strawberries by mid June or sooner if the sun shines as it has.

TO MARKET TO MARKET
We are now going to Balerno Farmers Market the 2nd Saturday of the month and Bathgate Farmers Markets the 3rd Saturday of the month. We will have the full range of our Fruit Ices and Sorbet available. We will of course still be at Haddington Farmers Market the last Saturday of the month and Edinburgh Farmers Market every Saturday and East Fortune Market every Sunday. WE ARE WORKING HARD
What a windy start to the year, covering our poly tunnels has been made very difficult, but we shall overcome, we look forward to another successful season.
We now have two Fruit Ice sales people on the road, delivering in Fife, Borders, Edinburgh and Lothians the fat, dairy and gluten free alternative to ice cream.

THE SEASON IS OVER
We would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who came to Belhaven Fruit Farm over the summer and autumn, what a season we have had.
You can still purchase our Fruit Ices and Sorbet a Fat Free alternative to ice cream at local farmers markets in Haddington and Edinburgh. We look forward to seeing you there.
If you can't wait for a farmers market then it is also stocked in many local retailers in East Lothian. We supply Farm Shops at Gosford, Fenton Barns, Knowes, Pinkie Mains and Seton East Mains. Also delicatessens The Food Hamper, Dunbar, Fisherman's Kitchen, North Berwick, Gullane Deli, Morag's Larder, Port Seton and Miller's Deli, East Linton. Also in village shops in Pencaitland, Aberlady and Longniddry
You will also find our Ices on the menu at several local restaurants, The Rocks, Dunbar, The Castle, Direlton, Gothenburg, Prestonpans, Stack Poli and Petit Paris, Edinburgh
The Farm shop will be re-opening next year mid-June when the fruit season kick off again.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT THERE ARE STILL PYO STRAWBERRIES
This season just goes on and on, we still have beautiful strawberries we now have an honesty box so you can come at any time and PYO, weigh and pay.
We are developing our ice cream range to include more flavours, Apple and Raspberry are now in production along with our original Strawberry Ice. These new flavours are just as bursting with fruit that's 30 - 40% fruit content.

WE STILL HAVE STRAWBERRIES FOR PYO OPEN FRI - SUN 10am -6pm
Despite it being a very damp summer Belhaven Fruit has consistently produced some fantastic fruit. We have been supplying local outlets and have had a very positive response with exceptional sales. The PYO and farm shop have both had a great summer.

We have too many strawberries we can't pick them fast enough. Please come and help us stop this fruit going to waste.

WE ARE OPEN
In between the rain showers the sun did shine, we are delighted to be open and enjoying a fabulous crop, picking is so easy and quick. No sore back, damp knees and even if the heavens open " as they like to do" you will be nice and dry.

Where has the sunshine gone, the mist and miserable weather is not helping to turn our strawberries, please be patient and if you have the power do us a sun dance and the strawberries will be ready.

Our first open weekend is very soon, the sunshine and good weather has brought on the fruit and we are looking forward to a bumper harvest.
Our new farm shop is still under construction, we are working very hard to have our shop, toilets and cafe up and running as early as possible.

5 Weeks to Go. The count down has begun.We are working hard preparing the poly tunnels for this coming season, irrigation of the earliest fruit plants is happening 4 times a day.
Our beautiful strawberries will be available at Haddington Farmers Market, the last Saturday of the month and every Sunday at East Fortune Market in season.
An open day is planned in July, fun for all the family.
